Activewear has evolved beyond the gym, becoming a daily essential that blends comfort, functionality, and modern style.

When walking along the road or across your campus, you are more than likely to see a few people dressed in active wear. Gone are the days of wearing jeans everyday as today majority walk through their lives in athleisure. Compression pants and hoodies are no longer reserved for the gym and are becoming heavily integrated into everyone’s lives.

In today’s world athleisure is no longer seen as something that you wear when working your body. Now, athleisure is known as everyday clothing that allows people to present themselves in a more comfortable way. Blending our lives to ensure both comfort and fashion has become one of our biggest priorities in fashion. Even accessories have merged into the fitness realm as tons of people wear sports watches in order to track their daily activates while still adding design. When looking to our most fashionable icons we see that even they are looking for comfort in their busy lives.

For brands and marketers, this creates a whole new world of advertising as people are not only buying clothing for performance anymore. People are looking for a sense of identity in their style that brings them a better social standing. Having a strong brand identity that stands out to the younger generations goes a long way in creating engagement to create new trends. Being able to show versatile outfits that can be worn both every day and at the gym creates a slight investment as they are looking to bring more healthy habits to their life as a whole. Today, creating an active lifestyle starts with your outfit. Ensuring that you are comfortable but also ready for whatever comes your way allows people to create future ambitions. Popular brands have made it their goal to provide everyday comfort for every type of shopper. Multiple lines with varying athleisure relation allow people to choose what style they are looking for. This allows for a more diverse experience when shopping for a simple product. In the business world this is becoming hard to deny as people find ways around typical dress codes when athletic brands bring a new sense to professional style.

Brands are able to turn slacks into a stretchy material that makes consumers feel more comfortable in a potentially stressful environment. Sports today is not confined to the field or the gym, it is everywhere. From your clothes to your computer, it shows how you move through your day creating ambition. For the new generations, flexibility is a necessity to showcasing your identity and that starts with your

wardrobe.
